Your area of responsibility:
Development, implementation and optimization of global warehouse and transportation processes to fulfill dedicated customer requirements and
enable continuous freight and logistics cost optimization
Requirements management and business blueprint development for innovative IT solutions in the area of warehouse and transportation processes
Bring outside knowledge & global standards in and ensure global process standardization and compliance
Change request management with IT and countries
In depth data analysis of process efficiency/effectiveness and deduction of recommendations/direction concerning optimization/change activities
Business Case calculation/validation in the area of Logistics processes and systems
Benchmarking for warehouse and transportation processes
Project- / Workstream lead for cross functional, cross business, complex and time critical projects with regional/global scale
Interface function to process owner ORDER and PLAN
Management and definition of standard logistics service catalogue and according processes in alignment with process owner ORDER
Root cause analysis and realization of CAPA for Logistics
What we look for:
Professional experience (min. 5 years)
Bachelor or Master's degree in an area related to business administration and practical experience in managing Logistics (Warehouse and
Transportation)
Sound experience in the area of warehouse- and transportation processes and systems, ideally the medical industry and other industrial sectors
Deep knowledge of SAP ERP, SAP EWM/LES, SAP BW, SAP TM, EDI and ideally further experience in one or more of the areas as Material Flow
System (MFS), HSE, Quality and Customs/SAP GTS
Ability to lead and manage change as also find solutions and take decisions
Strong analytical skills
Methodological competence (e.g. REFA, MTM, PDCA, DMAIC, Lean Management, Six Sigma, FMEA, etc.) with proven practical adoption in the
realization of new processes as well as continuous process improvement
Good project management skills
Strong communication skills on the different communication levels
Proven track record in the design, development and successful implementation of cross functional and complex projects in the logistics area
Very good English and German language skills
