Your area of responsibility:
Category Management for Direct Procurement
For the area Wound Care (foam, medical foil, chemicals)
Define global category strategy incl. internal stakeholder and supplier strategy
Supply market research and supplier selection
(Strategic) Supplier Relationship Management
Strategic Sourcing and cost measures (e.g. Design to Cost as part of new product development and launches)
Negotiate and settle contracts with suppliers globally according to MDR (Medical Device Regulation)
Continuously improve global categories and align global category team
Escalation and risk management in regard to suppliers and raw material
What we look for:
Bachelor or Master degree (MBA)
5+ years of professional experience in procurement or related sectors with according responsibility
Professional experience in procurement on tactical as well as strategic level
Good practice in professional business relationship with suppliers
Excellent commercial and outstanding negotiation skills, ability to work independently, excellent communication, good judgement and persuasive
power
Intercultural and international competence
Teamplayer with high seniority
Stakeholder- and Relationship Management
Assertiveness and decision-making ability
English fluent, German at least intermediate
