Returnable Packaging Material Manager (m/f/d)

Your tasks

As Returnable Packaging Material Manager (m/f/d), you report to the Supply Chain Director Germany and your position is based in Berlin.

In that role you will lead all Returnable Packaging Material (RPM) related projects to resolve financial strategic issues. You will develop and lead the strategy for the RPM portfolio for Heineken Germany.

Within your role you:

  • Investigate and understand the German RPM market to develop a strategy fit for Heineken Germany with the aim to reduce market losses, reduce circulation times, leading to lower Capex investment by the sources and lower TP for Heineken Germany
  • Measure, monitor and control the market loss, site loss, circulation time and deposit balance of RPM SKUs, according to Logistics rules, standards and procedures and in cooperation with relevant stakeholders
  • Prepare, explain and follow up on management reports, in line with global reporting standards and/or local requirements
  • Support cross-department collaboration by identifying key process improvements and support initiatives
  • Perform root cause analysis on KPI’s to facilitate understanding and insight in RPM performance
  • Initiate, implement and embed improvements to RPM processes and procedures, according to future TPM methodology

Your profile

  • University degree or equivalent in economics with focus in Supply Chain / logistics
  • Ideally work experience in the area of Supply Chain
  • Very good abilities to communicate understandingly, exactly and in a structured manner
  • Being able to prioritize tasks, think in processes and to work methodically towards the plan
  • Strong customer focus and a strong sense of flexibility
  • Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
